PIRC aims at setting up a reference centre with a comprehensive collection of materials (Books, journals, documents, studies, news paper clipping and reports) and relevant information on Parliament on Parliaments/Legislatures, Constitutions and the working of democratic political systems, world over. This would be made available to the representatives of the people and all those who are engaged in the study and research on parliamentary democracy. On-line public access catalogue and digitized documents on CD-Rom are the other significant services PIRC provides.
On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC)
A comprehensive description of the records is provided on the on-line Public Access Catalog(OPAC) which is an automated catalogue of the Library. It is possible to conduct record searches from the OPAC terminals provided in the PIRC.
